Kindness And Consideration
Our love for children can sometimes lead us to oversaturate them with attention. After all, there’s so much we want to show them, so many things we want to explain to them. In a classroom, this can even become a source of stress, driven by a desire to complete lesson presentations within a perceived time constraint. It’s so easy to become focused on the information, on the lesson, and lose sight of the true needs of the child.
Being able to spend time in independent thought unrestricted by the direct intervention (positive or negative) of others, is one of the greatest luxuries a human can enjoy. Children absorb this phenomenon by watching us respect the personal space of others and by seeing us value their own innate interest in exploring life independently. We are not neglecting a child by letting them experience a spell of uninterrupted private time; we are, in fact, honoring them. .

Children are so responsive that if you treat your child with kindness and consideration he too will be kind. If you let him pursue his own little affairs and interests undisturbed, you will find that he will be less inclined to disturb yours.
